For sustainable heating and cooling using ground source energy, VRM provides three systems: Rygan closed-loop ground source energy systems, Haka Gerodur geothermal loops, and open-loop well systems with well screens and pipes. VRM supplies the complete system, including engineering.
Rygan is a closed-loop ground source energy system featuring high-quality composite heat exchanger pipes and a demonstrably lower thermal resistance than standard HDPE. The system delivers 40 to 60 percent more heat transfer per meter of borehole, achieving the same capacity with significantly fewer boreholes.

VRM is an official dealer of Haka Gerodur geothermal loops. Haka Gerodur provides high-quality collectors for closed-loop ground source energy systems in various configurations. For open-loop ATES systems, VRM provides the well screens and pipes for extraction and injection wells. These are the same products used for wellpoint dewatering and water abstraction, applied here for the extraction and reinjection of groundwater for thermal energy storage.

In accordance with the KIWA BRL K567 standard, the BioBuis has a lifespan of at least 1 year after installation. VRM recommends completing the sampling period within that year. After use, the borehole is sealed with Mikolit clay pellets or clay seals, available from VRM.
VRM is certified for KIWA BRL-K561 (monitoring wells and fittings for drinking water and groundwater monitoring), KIWA BRL K567 (BioPipe), ISO 9001 (quality management), and PSO Step 3 and 30+ (social entrepreneurship). Certificates are available for download on the quality page.
NEN 6693 is the new standard for soil descriptions in boreholes and monitoring wells, replacing NEN 5104 and NEN 5706. The standard is leading within the BRO (Key Registry for the Subsurface) and environmental soil research. VRM documentation aligns with NEN 6693.
